Half x Baked Theater Co. is a collective of actors, writers, clowns and commedianti based in the greater New England Area. Our members have trained and performed internationally at institutions including RADA, LAMDA, Academia Dell’Arte, Prague Shakespeare Company, and Teatro Lunaria’s Festival in una notte d’estate; In addition to the many national theaters and schools in Hawaii, Michigan, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York, among others, we've also trained, studied, and performed locally at the Boston University School of Theater, the Boston New Works Festival, Boston Center for the Arts, the Community College of Rhode Island, and the University of Rhode Island.
We strive to elevate textually dense plays through physical theater techniques, eliminating unnecessary artifice between body and words. Half x Baked is enthusiastically committed to sharing the joy of challenging texts with audiences, presenting accessible, actor-led productions that provoke revelatory examination of the human condition.
